Riding

It seemed like a good idea to go for a ride on the bmx track.

It also seemed like a good idea to wear my favourite top.  

Clearly I didn’t think about the track being muddy!

Oh well, time for a shower and to throw my clothes into the wash!

The Birthday Begins

When I woke up, not only was the table set for breakfast but there were presents waiting for me. I couldn't wait until everyone was awake so I could open my card and presents.

Thanks everyone, my presents are awesome. I especially love the new Pandora Charm.

Getting Ready

I think that I am ready for a bike without training wheels.

First dad took the training wheels off my bike.

Then we went over to the park to practice.  

Dad held on tight as I pedaled.  We went around the park a few times.

Then I decided it was all too hard.

It was Daddy's turn to ride my bike!

Perhaps I will try riding again some other time.

Mountain Bike Riding

It seems like a million years ago that I was at the bike park watching AJ ride all around the track.  Well today it was my turn to have a ride there and it was fantastic!

It took me a while to get the hang of pedaling hard to get over the giant hills, but eventually I made it.

Boy's Adventures

Well Mum and Milla have gone away for the weekend, so we had a boys weekend.  

We had so many adventures that I hope that I don't forget any...

• First we went riding.  We rode all the way to Highpoint (well almost all the way, we had to walk up the giant hill at Pipemakers Park).  I rode home with only one rest stop.
  
• We played 10 pin bowling.  Dad still isn't very good at bowling, but my brother Clement is!  
• We went to the swimming pool for Darcy's birthday party.  
• I convinced dad that it would be fun to go the the Essendon Football Club Family Day and saw all of the footy players.
• We explored the Moonee Valley Festival.
• Just when I thought that there were no more adventures, we went riding again, this time we went to the Footscray Arts Centre to listen to a band.
  

I think that I will sleep well tonight,

PS - mum is a camera hog and she took her camera with her for the weekend.  I will have to see if Clement has any photos for me to use instead.

My Wheels

Today I decided that I didn't need training wheels on my bike.

First I had to take the training wheels off my bike.

Then I had to take my bike to the park.

Finally I rode my bike all by myself!
