Greetings from a Kinder Kid!

I didn't sleep in today - it was far too important to be ready for my first big kid day at kinder. I was excited, but I think mum and dad were even more excited. Dad even came to kinder with me for a play. I think that he wanted to stay, but he had to go to work instead.

I wasn't even sad when mum, dad and Milli said 'Goodbye', but Milli was. I think that she would rather be a big kid and go to kinder too.
I barely had time to run around outside, do a painting, read stories or have a snack before it was time to go home.

I can't wait until tomorrow, when I get to go back to kinder again and play with my new friends,
Love AJ Pickle,
the kinder kid.
Look at me, I am a kinder kid!

Happy Birthday to me...AGAIN!
Today is my birthday, my real birthday, not just the day that I have a party with my friends. Did you know that this time 4 years ago, I was not even an hour old? Can you imagine that?
I can't really remember that long ago, but judging by all the photos that are on the computer, I was a bit of a spunk back then too.
Anyway, my birthday celebrations continued again today. I woke up extra early, but it was still dark, so I crawled into bed with mum and dad. It was so comfortable, that eventually they had to wake me up, because they were too excited and they wanted to give me even more presents.
Even more presents, how fantastic. Not only did I have presents from mum, dad and Milla, the postman had even delivered me a present all the way from Ellen in gin-Japan. I was given more games, a pirate set, funky shoes and clothes as well as books. How lucky am I?
I was almost too excited to eat, but I managed to eat some breakfast before I went to playgroup to hang out with more friends, eat cake and listen to everyone sing happy birthday to me...again!
Nick and Michael couldn't go to playgroup this morning, so this afternoon I went to their house for a play. I had heaps of fun and wanted to stay longer, but we had to go home to get ready for dinner. We had more special visitors join us for dinner; Wayne, Joke and Sharni. Can you believe it, I was given more presents, this time a really ace com-piano (for those of you who don't know what a com-piano is, it is a piano that is smaller than the one at Nan and Pop's, and it has batteries in it!) I gave everyone a recital before dinner! My com-piano playing and singing was so relaxing that Milla fell asleep on the chairs under the table and didn't eat any dinner with us big people.
After we had dinner, we ate the rest of my birthday cake - after everyone sang happy birthday to me...again! I love birthdays!
Well, I had finally go to bed to get some rest, I have another big day tomorrow - I start kinder.
I will let you all know about my first day of kinder tomorrow,
Love AJ Pickle,
the 4 year old.

Happy Birthday to me!

I had my birthday party today. I was really lucky that hundreds of people could work out where the party was, just from the pictures I sent on the invitation. We had so much fun, running around, rolling down the big hill, making mud-pies, playing pass the parcel and of course eating heaps of yummy food.

Naturally, everyone spoiled me, and I was given some fantastic presents; legos, dress-ups, sports stuff and even my very own sleeping dog that I call Kobe. I love having birthdays, almost as much as I love all of my friends.

Well, it is time for me to go to bed now... I want to have lots of energy to celebrate my real birthday tomorrow.

Love AJ Pickle,
the almost 4 year old.

Big things are about to happen...
Did you know that it is my birthday in 2 more sleeps, but I am going to have my birthday party tomorrow. How lucky am I? I get to have a birthday party before it is my birthday!
Then, the day after my real birthday, when I am 4, I go to kinder.
HOORAY...I can hardly wait!

Only 8 more sleeps...

Did you know that I am almost 4 years old? That means I am big enough to go to 4 year old kinder. I can't wait!

Today I went to kinder for a practice play, and to meet the new teachers. My teacher's name is Carol and her assistant is Hoa and they are both really nice.

I am really lucky, Isabella is in my class, and we are both Rosellas. That means we can go to kinder on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday too.

I cant wait until next Tuesday, only 8 more sleeps!

Do you like this photo of me?
I am looking at some of the really cool rocks and dinosaurs with a magnifying glass.

See ya,

The birthday season has begun!

Well the year is off to a fantastic start, I have already been to my first birthday party of the season. It was my cousin Zoe's 4th birthday on Tuesday. I went out to her house in Eltham and we had a birthday picnic lunch, yummy birthday cake and even a treasure hunt for chocolates. It was soooo much fun.
Zoe was really lucky, she was given some really fantastic presents. My favourite present was one that she calls Michelle. Michelle is a mouse and she lives in a really cool cage with a tower and a wheel. I wonder if I will get a present like Michelle for my birthday?

I love this time of year, Love AJ Pickle

Look at us, we are all cheeky monkeys!

Mackenzie and Me

I saw Mackenzie again today. She looks just as beautiful as I remember... so beautiful that I was lost for words.

Eventually, when I worked up the courage, I even played with her. We had a lovely picnic in the park with some of our other friends - Stella, Ines, Campbell and of course Milla and little Lachlan.

It was a lovely day, but far too short. Tomorrow Mackenzie and her family fly back to England.

Farewell for another year sweet Mackenzie! Please don't forget me.

If you want to see more photos of Mackenzie and the pommy crew, don't forget to check out my photo-journal at www.superrelish.shutterfly.com I will add more photos really soon.

Unrequited Love...

Did I ever tell you about my first girlfriend? Her name was Mackenzie, she was blonde, beautiful and lots of fun to play with. We were so happy together.

About a year ago, she left me. She packed up all of her toys and games and moved to the other side of the world. I couldn't believe it, I was devastated.

Anyway, she is coming back to visit me today - I can't wait!
I wonder if she will remember me...

Pharlap.

Did you know that when my Peter Pop asked AJ what he wanted to be when he grew up, he said that he wanted to be a bomber and a 'Skaifey'.

I don't want to be either of them...
I want to be Pharlap!

When Joke found out that I wanted to be Pharlap, he decided that it was time for me to go for my very first ride on a horse. He met us in St Kilda and he took us to the horses. AJ went for a ride on Patch and I went on Bam Bam. It was so much fun. I can't wait until I go for another horse ride.

Welcome to 2006 everyone.

The New Year is off to a fantastic start. One of our resolutions for the new year was to try and keep in touch. We know we get a little bit slack with writing emails, so this year we thought we would try something different, and try and keep in up with the ever changing technology in our lives.

Now we have our very own blog, where we can keep you up to date with all the really exciting things that we do. We we work out how, we can even add photos to our blog. You can add comments to our blog to show us that you really love us.

Well here goes....
