Starry Nights

Well I finally got to meet Amelia's little brother today.
This is Chase, he is way too cute.

I asked mum really really nicely if I could get a little brother or sister too and she just laughed at me!  (It wasn't a friendly laugh either.)  She just kept holding Chase and hugging all of the cuddles.

Eventually I was bored of waiting for cuddles, so I had lunch with Amelia instead.  We invented our own sandwiches that we called Starry Nights.  They were delicious - Star Sprinkles on Vegemite.
Yum - do you want to try some?

It was great visiting the Amelia, she is so lucky to have a baby brother,

Brave or Crazy?

Well I have been in Australia for almost a week now and every day AJ and Milla have Vegemite.  Vegemite on toast, Vegemite in a sandwich and sometimes when they think that no one is looking, they eat Vegemite from the jar!
Today I decided to see what all the fuss was about and I tasted Vegemite.

I can't say that I liked it, but perhaps I will try Vegemite again another day.

Boy's Adventures

Well Mum and Milla have gone away for the weekend, so we had a boys weekend.

We had so many adventures that I hope that I don't forget any...
  • First we went riding.  We rode all the way to Highpoint (well almost all the way, we had to walk up the giant hill at Pipemakers Park).  I rode home with only one rest stop.
  • We played 10 pin bowling.  Dad still isn't very good at bowling, but my brother Clement is!
  • We went to the swimming pool for Darcy's birthday party.
  • I convinced dad that it would be fun to go the the Essendon Football Club Family Day and saw all of the footy players.
  • We explored the Moonee Valley Festival.
  • Just when I thought that there were no more adventures, we went riding again, this time we went to the Footscray Arts Centre to listen to a band.
I think that I will sleep well tonight,

PS - mum is a camera hog and she took her camera with her for the weekend.  I will have to see if Clement has any photos for me to use instead.
A Girl's Weekend

Mum and I went for a girls weekend in Tungamah and Yarrawonga.  We had a party at the Boosey Creek in Tungamah for Vanessa, to help her get ready for her wedding in 2 weeks.  All the grown-ups there played strange games.  They even dressed Vanessa in a toilet-paper wedding dress.
Don't I look beautiful in my own toilet-paper dress!

I wonder what the boy's did all weekend?

Oh Brother

I went to the airport last night to meet my brother Clement.  We didn't really get a chance to play together, he had been on a plane for ages and I was up really, really late.  Everyone was really tired.

Today, I let Clement have a rest during the day so that he would have the energy to play with me after school.
I think that I am going to like having a big brother to play with.

PS Amelia and Zac have a brother too, I can't wait to meet him.

Three Kids
Everywhere I look, families have three kids...

Paula is about to have a baby so that there will be three kids in Amelia's family.  Tash is about to have a baby too, so Gabby will have a big sister and a little brother.  There are three kids in Liam's family, Stella already has 2 little sisters and there are even three kids in Ethan's family.

Guess what, we are going to have three kids in our family too!
That's right, three kids.

Luckily I don't have to wait ages for mum to have a baby, I am getting my big brother tomorrow!   My big brother's name is Clement, and right now he is in a plane from Paris flying to Melbourne to meet me.

I can't wait...

Feeling Hot, Hot, Hot

Well it is a really hot night and AJ keeps turning the air conditioner off.
I decided it was more comfortable to sleep at the bottom of the stairs on the middle floor.
What do you think?

Y Gym
It was Mackenzie's 6th birthday party today.  Instead of going to a play centre for her birthday, we all went to the YMCA to do gymnastics.
Gymnastics is a little like doing circus, it was so much fun!

Quick, Mum is Out...
Mum went out this morning to buy a new bookcase for some of our stuff.  Look what we did when she was out...

Mum got home just in time to find dad filming our stair sliding adventures.

If mum had of filmed the slippery slide adventure, you wouldn't need to turn your head sideways to watch the movie!

Work?
Mum had to work today, so I went to dad's work.  I don't know if you can really call it work, it is more like being on holidays.

There was a computer game to play

and a giant blackboard to draw on.

After seeing dad at 'work', I thought that perhaps mum worked harder, that was until I saw photos of mum at 'work' on Wednesday.

Surely rock climbing isn't work!

Kinder is great, but I think being a grown-up will be fun,

Soccer

Instead of going to Kelly Sports this term, I get to play real soccer after school.
My coach can do amazing tricks and he has already started to teach us how to do the tricks too.

I can't wait until I am better at soccer than mum and dad!

Bowl-a-Birthday

Today Uncle Adam turned 30 so we all went 10 pin bowling in Geelong to celebrate.

I was pretty good at bowling, Milli was a natural.  I don't think that Milli inherited her bowling talents from dad - he was hopeless!  Pop won the first game, but nan was the overall winner - she won the trophy!

We all had fun bowling and we are going to go bowling again some time.

PS - happy birthday Uncle Adam

A Nature Walk

After we visited the Shrine, we took nanny and poppy for a walk through the gardens to collect treasures.
First I found a pineapple cone and then I found some coconuts.

Dad told me that they weren't really coconuts though, they were really numb nuts.  I found lots of numb nuts as I walked through the gardens.  Mum didn't really want me bringing my numb nuts home, so AJ and I threw them around instead.

I couldn't bring my pineapple home either, but I did have fun finding treasures in the garden.

Chasing Time
I had more birthday celebrations again today.

Nan and pop came to visit and we all went in to the city to explore the gardens.  We caught the tram to the Shrine and then we walked back in to the city, showing nan and pop all the interesting things along the way.  There were amazing trees to climb, statues to explore, treasures to find, fence railings to balance on and bands to listen to.
My favourite part of the day was chasing time around the flower clock.

Do you think if I chase the time backwards, I can go back and have another birthday?

Who Wants Cake?

Kinder is heaps of fun, especially now that the whole class is at kinder together.  It is even more fun when we have a birthday party. Zara and I were first in line to sing 'Happy Birthday' to Kalinda and of course to eat the delicious birthday cake too!

Happy birthday Kalinda,

Presents in the Park

I had another birthday celebration today.  I went to Queens Park for a picnic and Aunty Sam, Sebastian, Granddad and Grandma came along too.

We had lots of fun, and of course I was spoilt (again) and I was given even more presents.
Thanks everyone,
