Cuddles

We went to Grandma's house for Easter afternoon tea.  Afternoon tea was almost healthy - fruit salad, vegemite sandwiches and bun, with a side serving of Easter eggs of course.

As well as eating and having another Easter egg hunt, we played with Roger.  I think Roger was a little worn out from helping the Easter bunny last night.  

Roger didn't really want cuddles.

Luckily my littlest cousin Owen wanted cuddles instead.

Roger's New Family

We went for a visit to Sunbury to see, Grandma, Grandad, Aunty Sam and Sebastian. Dad was doing a little bit of work in the garden with Uncle Grant, so we decided to go to the park for a play.

We all played a bit of cricket and then AJ gave Grandma her very own Auskick lesson. He taught her how to kick properly and how to handpass. By the end of the morning, Grandma was a pretty good kick! I didn't want to play footy. Instead mum taught me how to make daisy chains.

Aren't they beautiful? I was on bee watch, making sure the bees didn't attack mum so she could make me a daisy chain crown before we went back for lunch.

After we had lunch and ate all of the mandarins of the tree, we decided that Roger would really love to visit at Grandma's, there is plenty for him to eat in the country. Sam decided that she would love to have a pet for Sebastian to play with as he grew up, so off mum went to get Roger.
He loves his new house in the country. We can all go and visit him for holidays and if we want, he can come and visit us in the city, but I think the grass is greener in the country.

In the Garden

At school we are learning everything about what lives in a garden. Today we made our own inside garden to hang on a wall. Everyone made something different for the garden.

I made a ladybug to explore the garden.

I also made my rabbit Roger because he loves gardens too.

Joseph made a lemon tree and Marwa made a beautiful butterflies. Rudy, Minh, Tuan and Josh painted the background and Kaya made worms to keep the soil healthy. Everyone helped to make the grass.

Another Walk in the Park

We took Rog to the park again this afternoon. Instead of going to Circle Park like we normally do, we decided to go to the Other Park. It was a bit far for Rog to walk all that way, so he went for a ride in his carrier instead.

After playing in the park, I was really tired and too exhausted to walk.


Unfortunately no matter how hard I tried, no one would carry me home!

A Walk in the Park

AJ went to Chris's house after school today, so I didn't have to go and pick him up.


Instead I went to Circle Park for a walk with 2 of my favourite boys - Macs and Roger.

We had a lovely day together.

Home Sweet Home?

You go away for a few days and when you get back, you find that someone has moved into your house! Can you believe it, there are 5 of us in the house now - mum, dad, me, Milla and Roger!

Roger is a rabbit, isn't he adorable!

I met Roger before Easter, but when I was away, he decided that he wanted to live in a house with kids, so he moved in. Isn't it fantastic, I finally have my very own pet to cuddle!

I wonder what would happen if Milla and I went away for a really long holiday? Maybe Milla could get a horse!
